Shenyang Brilliance Jinbei Automobile Co., Ltd. was founded in July, 1991, established on the basis of the previous Shenyang Jinbei Car Maker Co., Ltd., and registered the new name in 1996. The company has a registered capital of 444 hundred million USD, and staff and workers about 8000 at present. The Brilliance Jinbei Co. owns two car brand, Zhonghua series and Jinbei series; and three car products, they are: Zhonghua Cars which owns autonomous intelligent property, Jinbei Haise light vehicle which owns about 60% occupancy on market of the same type vehicles, and Jinbei Granse multifunctional business vehicle, produced with high-tech technology imported from Toyota, Japan. |

Aimed at the first rank car making industry in the world, Brilliance Jinbei put 70 million RMB yuan in introducing management system from Toyota Co. 1995, the company passed the ISO 9000 standard quality system authentication carried out by quality system authentication center of Chinese mechanical industry, thus become the first large automobile manufacturing enterprise that passed such authentication among all large car maker enterprises in China. In 1999, the company go through successfully the re-check of the authentication, and then in June, 2002 the company passed through again a revision of that authentication, the ISO 9001:2000. Thus obtained a quality passport leading to international market.
The Brilliance Jinbei owns great research and development potential, in that a R&D center with 499 persons has been formed in beginning of year 2003, which has a large research team, with 2 doctors and 33 masters among the technical personnel. There are organized also a expert group which owns many well-known specialists on automobile making, and developed some best design partner companies home and abroad. The R&D center has strong R&D capacity, trial production ability and product-improving potential, in that the data management system stands among leading position in the country.
The Brilliance Jinbei automobile Co. Ltd. is one of the chief production enterprise under the Brilliance Automobile Group Co. Ltd, which has 159 related companies, in that 14 are sole ownership sub-company, 125 are holding company or relative holding company, and 20 are joint operating enterprise, with total asset about 300 hundred million RMB yuan. Other production enterprises under the group include Brilliance BMW Automobile Co. Ltd., Jinbei vehicle manufacture Co. Ltd., and three engine making factories, and more that 30 enterprises producing automobile parts and components.

It owns 32 large and medium mechanical press imported from German
Erfurt Co., and a 3200 ton press production line imported from 麦克丰得 Co., Italy, and 1830 high efficiency production line for uncoiling, blanking, painting and piling, made by Komatsu manufacturer, Japan. |
It has 10 production lines imported from Japan, and one car adjusting line; and equipped with 1 conveyor line, 15 overhead transportation device, 4 automatic welding-machine, 23 welding robots, hanging weld-machine 235 sets, fixed electric welding machine 68 sets, and 30 CO2 protective welding machine, with a total production capacity of 80,000 cars.

The painting production line is designed and made by Paka Co., Japan, consisted of 32 sets of production equipment. The painting technology is composed of seven parts, i.e. pre-treatment line, sealing glue line, intermediate painting line, coloring line, finish painting line, adjusting line, and auxiliary line, with the features of completeness, advancing and good and stable painting quality.

It owns a 570 meter long general assembling line, composed of push-bar hanging line, common hanging line, single plate ground line, and double plate ground line, and three sub-assembling lines, equipped with automatic guided lifting (AGV) system, for engine, chassis, rear axle, and fuel tank correspondingly. It owns also end testing line for the whole car, imported from Schenck Co., Germany, and various types of oil filling machine.
